    Executable won't run

I created an application using Lazaraus/FPC on a machine running Fedora core 5.
I then tested the executable on another machine running FC3 and 5 and it runs just fine.
However when I try to run it on SuSE 9.1 nothing happens. I installed it by copying it to a directory whilst logged in as root.
When I try to run it as root I get the message *KDEInit could not launch*.
When I try to run it as the user, then the hour glass ticks over for about a minute and then nothing.
    Any ideas?

Sorry don't know anything about lazarus/FPC but it sounds like the relevant package either isn't loaded in the suse machine or isn't in the path.
