A printer didnt detect in SLED 10, but detects in SLES 10..

    Dear Experts.
I have a dual boot machine i.e SLED, and SLES 10 is installed.
I connect a parallell Text printer, with the machine.... then boot the system in SLES 10...
    # yast2 printer
It automatically detects the printer, i.e on Printer Configuration Page
Queue Name Device Model Default Queue
    not confgured /dev/lp0 Compuprint SP40

here i smply select the printer, and then hit the Edit button.. to configure the printer.

But on the same machine, when I boot the machine in SLED 10, and ran the
    # yast2 printer
it didnt detect the printer... i.e on Printer Configuration Page there is no printer listed.... so I have to hit the "Add" button to configure the printer.

Is there anyone who will let me know, why the printer didnt detect automatically in SLED 10, even though its automatically detects in SLES 10

in SLED 10, is it possible ... so that when I execute the "yast2 printer" .. the Printer Configuration Page shows me the printer.. as its shows the same printer in SLES 10.

    Regards
    Needee
