    NXServer and SuSEFirewall2

    Hi,

I am running nxclient on my local computer with SuSEFirewall2 running and 22 open for SSH.
I am trying to connect to our server with nxserver running. I can SSH to the server fine, 22 is open on the server's SFW2, but I cannot connect to the display.
Then, when I shut down SFW2 on the server it works great.
SFW2 on or off on the client (local computer) does not make any difference.
Seems like the DISPLAY/X data needs another kind of config on SFW2 to punch through?

What do I need to open up on SFW2 or configure differently to make this work with SFW2 running on both sides?

    Config:
    SuSE 10.2
FreeNX that came with SuSE 10.2; 0.5.0-25
    SuSEFirewall2 on both sides

    Thanks,

    Marinus.

SOLVED (Admin, I cannot edit my own msg., please feel free to adjust title)

Besides opening 22/SSH in the 'Allowed Services' | External zone, in SUSEFirewall2 it is also required to add SSH port 22 to 'Broadcast' | External Zone

Simply add 22 and NXServer works perfect.

    Marinus.
