    Ksynaptics not woking

    Hi All

I am running SuSE 10.0 on a SONY VAIO...the touch pad is ALPS. I installed Ksynaptics and I want to use the scroll feature of the touchpad...but when I start Ksynaptics (via KDE control center-->Peripherals) it says scrolling is already available....I am able to use scrolling on Windows but not on linux....can anyone help me with this issue?

    Thanks a lot

Is the Synaptics driver already installed? Did you add
    Code:
    "Option" "SHMconfig" "on"
In the correct input device section? Have you tried an alternative such as "gsynaptics" ?
