    install the required key

You could install the packman rpm keys from here:
PackMan :: Package details for rpmkey-packman

... or alternatively follow the instructions from here to import the key:
Additional YaST Package Repositories - openSUSE

with this (for SuSE-10.2), using root permissions:
    Code:
    rpm --import http://packman.unixheads.com/suse/10.2/gpg-pubkey-1abd1afb.asc

I would just click on 'yes' - you are installing from packman which is a reliable source, and also tick the 'do not repeat this message' box.
After you do this, it will ask you if you should import the key. You should again answer 'yes'
    Good luck

Sorry, I hadn't seen oldcpu's reply which is of course more correct and thorough - though what I suggested should also work

Note, you need to do this with root permissions. Did you type "su" first to get root permissions?

Also, are you using SuSE-10.1 or 10.2?

A few possibilities of things that can mess up the importing and use of public key:
    a. you could be behind a proxy, in which case you should sort that out, and/or
    b. your router could have out going tcp-port 11371 blocked, which needs to be open for most keys, and/or
    c. the web site with they key was simply down at that time.

Again, ensure you try this with root permissions.
