Add new services to [Yast > System > System Services]?
OK... in the other distros I have worked on the system services applet had some sort of way to let the user add new services to the startup routines. In my case, I want Beryl and some others to start whenever I boot the computer. So, in Suse it seems as if system services are controlled by the System Services dialog. Sounds good so far, but when I am there I only have options for modifying services that are already defined in the system, enabling and disabling them and such, but no way to add new ones. WHAT ON EARTH?????
How on earth do you add something to startup in Suse 10.2?

You don't want to run Beryl or any other desktop applications as services. For a start they will be running as root, secondly they can add great instability to your system.
For startup programs it's quite easy -- Gnome- launch gnome-session-properties and click on the startup programs tab. Add the application you want
- KDE - make a link to the application you want in ~/.kde/Autostart. The tilde (~) is your home directory and the dot in front of kde means it is a hidden directory.
