how to boot as SuSE, instead of windows...
sorry for being such a noobass~
I formatted suse 10.2 fresh on my dell laptop (Latitude D800). After 2 months, I installed Windows XP on a different partition.
It now boots as XP ... How do i create a dual-booting option, so I can access SuSE again...?
Thanks,
Eugene

Hi and Welcome !
boot up from Suse Installation CD/DVD and select Installation. select Update in next screen ( after language/time etc. ). click on next, next, next...
Installer will reinstall GRUB and GRUB Menu wiil appear on reboot. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Will doing this "upgrade" / update completely bone my current xorg.conf settings?
... I can remember spending many hours figuring out how to get my NVIDIA card to force a resolution (to get the cubey-stuff, and other nifty-looking stuff working).
I definitely made an xorg.conf.backup .... will i be fine? >.<
Thanks again,
Eugene
