Mounting Removable drives
So I'm off to a fresh start on Linux and I've slowly been learning how to use fstab and the Kwikdisk program within KDE. Though I'm running into a few problems.
First I noticed that my devices folder has hdb, which is my cd-drive, and then a bunch of what I think are symbolic links to that drive which are entitled cdrom, cdwriter, and dvd. So I tried to edit my fstab with 3 entries one to mount /dev/dvd, /dev/cdrom and /dec/cdwriter. One problem I run into is that when trying to mount cdwriter I get an error of can't read superblock...which I guess makes sense since I've put in a blank disc... But it also seems that an error like that shouldnt show up just because I havent burned to the disc yet. help plz.
