    Hi and Welcome !

which Graphics Card do you have?
in GRUB Menu, highlight SuSe title and type 3. press Enter key. SuSe will boot up in Command Linux mode. log in as normal user and execute this
    Code:
    su
    sax2
configure display settings, Test setting and exit sax2. execute 'exit' 2-3 times to get rid of su ( root privileges ). execute startx to check GUI.

if everything is fine, reboot machine else execute this
    Code:
    su
    sax2 -m 0=vesa
configure display settings again and repeat above procedure.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
