Hallo guys, i got a pc with Suse 10.1. I hope i havent make a mistake with the position of this thread(forum section ). First of all i apologise for my english.
I installed opendiameter 10.7-i , but i messed up a little bit so i desided to re-install it( i copied some folders i deleted some long sotry ). So i start the install,(i had all the Ace/boost etc installed), with ./config (i tried with prefix or without i dont think that matters) and this error appered "configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables" the error appears to be in a file confdefs. Anyway i tried the command ./configure CC=gcc everything okey, then i made make but errors appeared, so i typed make CXX=gcc and after compiling make install no problem here. I defined the needed variables as the installation said, and when i execute the test files (or aaad or nasd) it appears "Segmentation fault" ans nothing else. I got some old executable files of the "old install" and they are working but the new ones make that error. Does anyone know s something about the situation here and a way to solve it,do i make somethin wrong at the installation?
ps. When i pressed make (the signle one) there is a problem with g++32. I have installed ALL the packages of suse but nothing again.
ps2 I am kinda newby in linux so if you explain a little bit more in your answers i would be thankfull
Thanks in advance
