Hello All,

Can any one please suggest me a GUI tool (as well as through command line) eihter built-in or third party tool...to monitor all the user activities on the server (what all the directories or files they are accessing and applications they are running...and also generate security alerts etc)...Currently those users are accessing the server through NX...

Besides that I have couple of other questions... (please pardon my ignorance ...I am being a new bee to Linux as a matter of fact any Linux/Unix platforms)

1. How can I prevent the users to access any other folders above their home directory)?

2. What can I do if I need a group of users to access a common folder (yet I want to be able to track their activities in those common folders on an individual basis)?

3. Is there any way I can customize the users' NX logging process by asking them few more security questions other than their user name and passwords?

4. In general, what all the other general practices I should in order to maintain my server secured? Whatand how should I watch for security concerns?
