    Is someone familiar by this message ?

    For those who are not, it appears when trying to run the GRUB, giving - No Explanation ! The worst part is that you cannot even access your windows OS, so I tried to fix the installation of Linux, but it said some parts (those regarding the GRUB) are not repairable ! Unfortunately, I was forced into reinstalling Linux and eventually, losing all the valuable data.

    Any ideas by what is this (fatal) message caused and are there less painful solutions than reinstalling the Linux OS ?

    This problem is related to your other thread only. Please check this thread post #2 on how to re-install GRUB in SuSe.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
