Reconfigure GRUB to load new Windows OS installation?

Here is what I have done:

First I installed Win XP on one partition, then I installed Linux OpenSuse on separate partition. Afterwards I set the GRUB, on which Win XP is my primary selection, since most of my work is done in Windows. As we all know, on Windows is very easy to get a virus, and unfortunately I hooked some. This resulted in system instability and I decided to format the Windows partition. I reinstalled the Windows, everything went fine -> but, I no longer had the GRUB, so my Linux became, invisible to me. All Linux partitions were present, detected and well, but one cannot access the Linux anymore !

Is there a way to access the Linux ? Or I should reinstall both OS when I want actually to reinstall only one of them ?

And, btw, why is Linux more reliable than Windows regarding the virus and spyware threats ? What is the ultimate protection Linux has, that Windows doesn't ? Is the reason maybe, that Linux is Open Source, so no one is trying to make viruses to harm a free OS ? Or maybe the reason is that 90 % of the computers in the world use windows, so it is more "profitable" for hackers to develop malicious software for windows only ?

Boot up from SuSe installation CD/DVD and Select Installation. Select update in next choice list. click on next, next, next..... Installer will reinstall GRUB and set up dual boot.

    Check this thread.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
