How to join 2 PC in network?

Hi guys. Can please somebody tell me which is the best and the easiest way to join two computers running suse 10.2 in network. I successfully configured samba server for the third pc which runs Windows xp and works ok. Now I would like to have similar functionaly as samba also for the 2 computers that have suse 10.2 istalled. Is the NFS the right choice? Thanx for your help.

Thanx for answer. Can Samba be configured such way that it works for Windows Xp and Suse 10.2 at the same time. I have dual boot on one pc1(Window xp and Suse 10.2). On pc2 runnig suse 10.2 I configured Samba to work with Windows xp from pc1. Is it possible to set it up also for Suse 10.2 from pc1 while keeping the existing one for Windows xp from pc1. Thanx for help.
