    SUSE version dependency

    Hi all, I'm needing to install a software application which runs on SLES 9, but the machine I have is running SLES10 - is there a file similar to boot.ini which the application might be checking which I can change to fool it into thinking it's running on SLES 9 ? Thanks

    are you trying to install a package which is not desighned for your system to run on your system(a package for SLES 9 to run on SLES 10) is it?

    or your problem is some thing other
