    Printer not enabled

    Hi,

I have installed a printer on opensuse 10.2 which is a network printer with it's own ip address. I took a chance installing it, and it all seemed to work fine. Somehow (not sure whether it was through my own actions or not) shared it on the network for my windows boxes to print through - no problem.

Yesterday it suddenly stopped printing, apparently paused.

When I do "lpoptions" then it returns the fact that the printer-state=5, which I take to mean paused. How do I "un-pause" the printer?

I've looked around for problems and tried /usr/bin/enable MyPrinter but suse tells me that enable isnt there. I've also read about cups, but I dont actually know if I'm using that - sorry for being so blond.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sparky.

    Enable Printer

    Main Menu
    Tools
    Printing
    Printing Manager

    Then choose
    Printer
    to see options.
