install opensuse 12.2 get scrambled screen

i have open SUSE 12.1 installed alongside windows 7. But every time I try to install 12.2 I wipe 12.1 off the hard-drive and run the install disc, I run a check on the installation media and its fine the installation works with no problems on the first re-boot I get the option to select OS's it boots fine and the desktop opens, everything work fine until I take out the install disc and restart the PC everything goes well until I get to the log-in screen the screen is fragmented. It will let you log in but you can't see what you are doing. I have tried to re-install numerous times using different disc's I burnt from separate downloads. Thanks david:cool:

What does fragmented mean?
Have you tried starting in run level without X windows then issue startx command?

by fragmented I mean that there are little fragments of different windows its like all the image files used by the O/S are on the screen at the same time. This happens at the splash screen. It looks like it may be the windows I opened after installation, some of them looked familiar. As to the starting in run level without X windows, no I haven't tried it. It may be a problem with my graphics card its a NVIDA GeForce 210. Anyway thanks for your reply.:D
