Hi,
we’ve developed a large program for which we want to create help files/ a documentation/ a manual. (Similar as e.g. the help in MS Excel).
I’ve already searched quite some time but I didn’t find any tools running under SuSE. Does anybody know any software?
First stop for a unix user are usually man pages.
If your program is large, you might want to have multiple of them: explaining the binaries, conf files, etc
Man pages consist of text and macros:

Other than that:
An active, up to date and structured wiki comes to mind. Like this: Home - Chef - Opscode Open Source Wiki
as well as a well maintained webpage. One good example: Bacula Main Reference
What libs did you use to build the GUI? If QT, there are tools there for multi-lingual "help" etc.
