Online Video
Most online videos will not work, they look fragmented with wierd scribbles and big spots of white. I dont know why or how to fix it and i'm new to linux. anyone got a suggestion?

I'm thinking you used the gnash counterpart?
I used the adobe one instead of the gnash thing.

I immediately, after installing the gnash thing and noticed it did not work, did a

sudo apt-get remove gnash
What kind of online videos?

uh, i would rather not discuss the content of the videos, but i believe they were flash.
