twoHats Linux Newbie Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: NH, USA Posts: 159	64 bit Linux Hi - I have amd 64X2 and have used both 64bit and 32 bit Ubuntu 8.04 and earlier... Bottom line is that performance improvement using 64 bit is certainly not obvious, and you lose flash. What - no youtube?? I am using the 32 bit version now, and everything is fine and notice no degradation. __________________ - Clouds don\'t crash - Bertrand Meyer registered Linux user 393557 finally - hw to brag about - but next year it will look pitifully quaint: Athlon64 X2 3800 - 1G PC3200 - 250G SATA - ati radeon x300
