I want to know how to play windows games on linux because my windows does not work and I know it is possible to play windows games on linux. So if anyone out there knows how to play windows games on linux I would like them to help me.

There are ways to play *some* MS Windows games in Linux. Which ones and how well depend on your setup and a liberal amount of luck. You'll need to install some middleware like WINE:

Wine HQ

Then you'll need to see if anyone else has had luck installing the games you want:

Wine AppDB - Wine Application Database

Depending on the game you'll need to make sure you have proper 3D drivers installed.

I don't understand what you're asking. If you have WINE, you will need to install the game you want to play using WINE. There are tutorials on the WineHQ website. What do you mean by "do I need software"?
