booting probs...

on booting I encount this...

xinit:Connection reset by peer (error 104):
unable to connect to X server
xinit:No such process (error 3): server error.
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$

any ideas please?

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?
Execute this
Code:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
Configure display and execute 'startx' command. Post error message here, if any.

Hi casper....well I tried it and it's coming up with this:

X not installed....

now what?
