Question installin ubuntu prblm @.@

i have no idea what going on
im trying to install on a blank computer and it says that the 8254 timer is not connected to IO-APIC so the kernel cant synch and it also tells me to boot with api=debug and send a report

but i kinda have no idea what it wants
help pls

ps. using 6.06

Welcome to the forums!

Hmm... I have no idea what that's about, either. I'd personally recommend trying a later version for better overall hardware detection.

Post your Machine's specs here. RAM, Disk Space, processor and Graphics Card.

1gb ram
blank 160 gb hard drive
just the integrated nividia 7050 on the mother board
and i have a intel core 2 duo processor

Ubuntu 8.04 ( Hardy Heron ) will work perfectly fine on those specs.

Burn image at lowest possible speed supported by your Burner. Do not create bootable CD, select Burn Image to Disk option in your CD Burner package.
