installing ndiswrapper in ubuntu 8.04

hi and thanks for reading this. i ' m new to linux and have installed ver 8.04 using the install inside windows option. i have a belkin wireless G pci card installed in this computer that i use on my wireless router. there is no linux driver for this card that i can find. if i install ndiswrapper can i still go back to xp as this computer is used for business, etc. i would like to do this till i find another desktop i can install linux on.

Yes you can remove Linux through Window's Add/Remove programs for this type of install as far as I'm aware. You can install ndiswrapper from the disc and then supply the .sys and .inf driver files. It's quite straightforward. There's even a graphical tool called ndisgtk to help if you're worried about it. Good luck and let us know if you need more help or how you're getting on.
