Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 2	Pen Drive for Ubuntu hello there does anyone know of a pen drive that is capable of transfering files from winxp to ubuntu and vice versa and if so what manufacture and what file system does the pen drive need to be in to do so any help will be greatly appricated hope everyone is well jeremy

hazel Linux User Join Date: May 2004 Location: Harrow, UK Posts: 481	I don't know about make but you will definitely need to have the drive formatted for Windows. For XP that means ntfs. Linux can read all Microsoft filesystems but Windows can't read Linux filesystems. __________________ "I'm just a little old lady; don't try to dazzle me with jargon!"
