I got it to give me the option, but Vista doesn't seem to be there. It says window, when I select it, it says starting up, then just hangs there. I also says there is something wrong with my splash screen, then asks me to hit enter and finishes going to the Grub screen. I may have to just use Kill Disc and start this whole process over again, I think I have too many errors by now.

The only thing i can think of is adding a line to the windows list in the menu.

Code:
title Windows
root (hd0,1)
makeactive
chainloader +1
With the splash issue, just remove the following line.

splashimage=(hd0,2)/grub/splash.xpm.gz

Also post the output of fdisk -l

Should have asked for the earlier

Also, the reason it only states 'windows' is becuase thats what is written next to title.

If you just have 1 hard drive one thing that may make a dfference is the x in the following line.
root (hd0,x)
normally 1, but depends on the partition layout... it's been a long week and im forgetting stuff at the end of my friday shift

It doesn't hang at splash screen, but it just loaded right through again.

Might need to reinstall grub, but i'm not to sure the specifics on that. May need to google it, or wait for someone with more knowledge then me to assist you.

Can you post the output of this command...want to make sure the partition for Windows is intact
Code:
sudo fdisk -l
That's a lowercase 'L' rather than a one or i.
