hey earlier i used ubuntu 7.10 in that to play mp3 songs i used XMMS player it s too good
but in ubuntu 8.04 i am unable to find XMMS i mean inADD/remove programs
how it can be?

I would try sudo apt-get install xmms or sudo apt-get install xmms2. If that doesn't work check this out Installing XMMS on Ubuntu 8.04 | Xanda's Blog !~!

I was surprised Xmms was not included on my recent Kubuntu and Ubuntu 8.04 installs and even more surprised when I couldn't find regular Xmms using aptitude search. The "How To" squirm linked you to is what I found and used also. It is a very easy to follow instruction. With it, you'll have Xmms up and going in no time!

Hi rakeshakurathi, what is not working? apt-get install xmms? Or the directions squirm linked you to? If it isn't working, there is a 95% chance it's because you are not doing something right. The only way we can know how to help you is for you to tell us what you are trying to do and where things are "not working." Please give details and what you are doing, and where in the process you are running into trouble. THEN we can help you! As t is now, we haven't a clue...
