| installing video driver Hello,
I've just recently installed Ubuntu, and now am having difficulty installing the video drivers for my Nvidia card.
I found the driver on the Nvidia web site, and downloaded it to my desktop. The Nvidia web site states that I must run the command "sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run" to install the driver, and I went into terminal and tried this.
I was told that "sh: Can't open NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.09-pkg1.run" and I am wondering if I am not in the same folder as the file. I don't know how to change folders in Terminal and it appears that I am in the Desktop folder as this is the prompt "ray@Ray-desktop:~$"
Could someone please help me get this video driver installed? Thanks!
