[SOLVED] 8.10 network manager keyring

Every time I start 8.10 I get a message box asking for the network manager's keyring password. It also insists on starting my wireless connection even though I have a wired connection.

Is there a way NOT to have the wireless connect and how do I bypass the keyring password request?

Thanks,

It sounds like it is set to start that connection at boot. I don't know how to disable it in 8.10, but look for that option, and disable it.

You can remove that network from your list directly in Network Manager. Once removed it will not attempt to connect. It sounds though like you might want to remove your gnome-keyring configuration as it's not being unlocked by PAM as it should be.

On another note, Network Manager 0.7 supports multiple connections now so it is likely connecting to your wired network too.
