No Native Gnome DVD Playing App That Actually Works?

I am having an incredible amount of trouble finding a native Gnome app (blends in with the rest of ubuntu dapper) which can play DVD's and show the DVD menu as well. There is Ogle and Ogle-GUI, but those are not native Gnome (and I started making a native Gnome frontend for Ogle, but stopped because of the next reason), and have strange lines through the movie as it is playing, like interlacing.

Totem does not have the interlacing, but I cannot get to any part of any DVD except the very beginning chapter.

Compiling is not an issue for me, so it's fine even if it's in source format, and I don't mind modifying source code/adding patches either.

Thanks in advance.

Add extra repos and type:
Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2

I thought libdvdcs was just for playing encrypted DVD's. How would that help with the menus and interlacing?
