Need help with installing ubuntu on primary slave

Hey folks!

I have a 120GB Ide master housing Ubuntu Dapper, and a 20GB Ide Pimary slave that I want to use for Ubuntu Christian Edition.

The thing is, Ubuntu C.E. does not give any options of where to install grub, so the last time I set things up like this, I could not reboot unless I used the cd, and attempting to Reinstall grub to the MBR did not work.

Is there any other way to get ubuntu C.E. onto hdb1 and be left with a dual-boot option?

Thanks!

You can manually edit the grub you already have for your dapper install. If you are unsure, boot into the Ubuntu CE and copy your /boot/grub/menu.lst and you can see where it boots from, then append this entry to the original dapper grub settings.

Thank You, I'll give it a shot and post the results.
