Who is using Ubuntu-64,and how well does it work?

I just built an AMD64 based computer with a 250gb sata hard drive,an nvidia6100 chipset, and 2 gigs of ddr2 ram.I am currently looking for a linux distro that will run well on it(Clean install). Thanks to distrowatch,I have found that there arent many to choose from, with Ubuntu being the most 'mainstream'one. My questions are:
    1-Can I use flash and java(you cant with winblows64)?
    2-Is Opera available(my favorite)?
3-Is it very buggy(I plan on using 6.06.1 LTS)?
Any other info on its usefullness(or non-usefullness ) would be GREATLY appreciated!! Im new to this forum, and I would like to thank everyone involved ahead of time, great job being done here!

    Here's my personal opinion:

From what I've used, it's not buggy, but there are some "gotchas" such as Flash and Java support. You might still be able to run the 32-bit Opera if there isn't a 64-bit version available.

first of all, check this article.....
Opera works fine on 64bit but Java is a bit buggy!

EDIT: techieMoe is 1 minute ahead !

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Nicely written!

I just read it in techieMoes debian thread, and it has convinced me to stick with 32 bit for now.But I have hopes for a distro called 64 Studio, which has plans for a purely 64 bit OS,programs and all, just no java at the moment.Worth looking into, its in beta now,but very close to a release. Thanks for the quick response!
