Glad it has been useful - multiple monitor support is still not good enough imho - especially if you want to enjoy compiz type bling...
On a positive note, after installing Ubuntu 8.04, it was a matter of using the same xorg.conf file and rebooting. So much less hassle. Additionally I added another monitor (4 in total) very simply by just adding the extra device, monitor and entry in the Server layout. It works very well too.
So, if they would only fix the damn compiz-on-(true)-multiple-monitors issue I would be a very happy user. As it is, I have to do without.... When I get a few spare days
I'll try doing some research on this too - there has to be a way to get it to work somehow... if anyone knows, feel free to post...
