Hey, iv reinstalled ubuntu now. Im back at this stage. And having readt through my old posts i thought it would all go smoothly. Indeed it did. But i got the same errors as now. Only difference is when i use the command...(Stated in quote) it doesn't fix it this time.
The message that appears is something like.
Cannot find essential-build package.
Do you know how i could solve this?

Go to synaptic and search for "build-essential" and make sure it is installed =)

I did exactly what you said. ran a quick search for it. But no luck. this is what i got when i entered the code:
nakira@nakira-laptop:~$ sudo apt-get install build-essential
Password:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Couldn't find package build-essential
nakira@nakira-laptop:~$
Could this error be the kernel, will it need updating.
All of the errors are posted on here from before, just look back over this thread.
