    DHCP shutting off...

Does anyone know what would cause a server just to shut off? Checked BIOS all power settings are set correct and I changed the power management settings in Ubuntu desktop to "Go in to standby mode" set to Never..."Turn off monitor"...Never. Every morning though the computer has to be turned back on. Weird I know. Any ideas?

It could be over heating and turning it's self off for safety reasons. Check your system temps and make sure they don't get too high. Also make sure all the fans are turning

Its not a true server...Its actually an old Dell Dimension desktop. I am currently rebuilding the server I replaced with the current one to see if the other one is having a heating problem.
