    Install Xorg without apt-get?

    Hey everyone,

I was wondering how I could install Xorg without an internet connection (no apt-get)?

I have a computer with a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 7.10 and I'm interested in installing Fluxbox on it which requires X11 or Xorg or something..

    Any help is appreciated..

    Thanks,

    Welcome to the forums!

You'd need to download it along with all its related dependencies to another storage media using another machine, then install it all onto your own machine. If you have the desktop version of Ubuntu 7.10 you might be able to get all the files you'd need direclty off of that disk.

    Best of luck with it.
