    Network settings on hardy

    Hello. I just moved to a new house and now cannot get internet access on hardy. I have a dual boot with vista and it runs fine on vista so I'm thinking it must be some setting, but I can't figure it out. I can't even ping my modem. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

    Can you give more details of your connection...Are you using Dialup, ADSL, mobile access? Also how is the device connected? USB, ethernet, phone line, bluetooth?

    It's AT&T's DSL (I don't know about ADSL). Connected via ethernet.
