    Pen Drive for Ubuntu



    hello there does anyone know of a pen drive that is capable of transfering files from winxp to ubuntu and vice versa and if so what manufacture and what file system does the pen drive need to be in to do so
    any help will be greatly appricated hope everyone is well

    I don't know about make but you will definitely need to have the drive formatted for Windows. For XP that means ntfs. Linux can read all Microsoft filesystems but Windows can't read Linux filesystems.

    Welcome to the forums!

    All the different brands of flash drives I've had would allow the transfering of files either way. FAT32 works pretty well for simple file transfers, in most cases.
