    installing video driver

I've just recently installed Ubuntu, and now am having difficulty installing the video drivers for my Nvidia card.

I found the driver on the Nvidia web site, and downloaded it to my desktop. The Nvidia web site states that I must run the command "sh" to install the driver, and I went into terminal and tried this.

I was told that "sh: Can't open" and I am wondering if I am not in the same folder as the file. I don't know how to change folders in Terminal and it appears that I am in the Desktop folder as this is the prompt "ray@Ray-desktop:~$"

Could someone please help me get this video driver installed? Thanks!

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
