    [SOLVED] superuser account


    Why I can't use my superuser account in my Ubuntu PC (version 7.10) to try rpm command? I already type my root passwd but its said "authentication failure..sorry" ? I am pretty sure I type the correct passwd...plz help?

    make sure that you change the root password if you just installed ubuntu in your pc
