    Video problem: X server unable to detect


    When i start the installation of fglrx (my video card is ATI Radeon 9200SE) there is an error X-server:unable to detect.The default drivers have good resolution but there's a problem with page scrolling and there slow.What kind of drivers should i use for my video card to work normally.Is there a possibility for 9200SE to run 3D. Linux Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop edition.

    Hi and Welcome !

    Have you tried to install driver through Hardware Manager? Look for it in Menu and install driver.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
