    i have ubuntu and vista home premium on 2 different hard disks(not partitions)
    i want to add ubuntu boot to be added to boot.ini file of vista

    i think this is not the right forum to ask this but i am sure someone will know it

    Vista has a different bootloader and there is no boot.ini file. The file you need to modify is BCEdit and the simplest way to do this is to download EasyBCD from NeoSmart Technologies.
