    diffrence between sda and disk


    hi everybody
    i am very new user to the Linux . I installed Ubuntu to my windows s/m . After that my three drive partitions are showing as sda , disk disk1 respectively .what is the difference between sda ,disk

    Open Terminal and execute this
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    Post output here.

    * Its small L in fdisk -l.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    hey
    sda is the hard disc patition
    and the disk stanks for your cd drive or DVD drive
