    Problem with wine


    I have installed a wine version 0.9.46. But whenever i try to open any windows applications by it, my pc hangs...... Can u guide me through this? Also i need to know the hardware requirements for the proper functioning of wine.

    Open a terminal window..in gui

    and use wine command

    wine application.exe
    if there is something wrong i will give error on terminal window
    Never make any misteaks.

    You're taking him too literally. You have to replace "application.exe" with the name of the actual program you're trying to run. For instance, for Solitaire.exe:
