    Question How to run a wireless network in ubuntu


    hey i hav ubuntu version 8.04 installed on my laptop..
    but i don't know how to connect through wireless ..
    i opened the network manager but couldn't find any option representing wireless connections.
    there were only 2 options..
    wired connection
    and
    point to point connection..
    help me!!!

    you have to install the wireless driver for your card, it could be as easy as plugging your laptop into the wired connection and going to system->administration->hardware drivers and checking the box for your card, or you might have to manually install the driver, post the output of
