    SSH Tunnle help

Ok so im trying to bypass a filter at work. I am trying to use a SSH tunnel and Firefox to bypass it. I'm a little stuck here. I'm runing open ssh on my ubuntu server. On port 1080. Then i try to connect to the server using putty on a LAN computer. I can connect and log in using putty. But when i configure my Firefox to a Manual proxy Socks Host 127.0.0.1 Port 1080 Then No proxy for localhost, 192.168.1.150. Is this correct or am i doing something wrong thx. Sorry little confusing!!
