Well I downloaded the ISO but my CD burner never recognizes the disc that I'm trying use to burn the ISO to, so I want to know is there a certain type of disc that needs to be used in order to burn the ISO to the disc?

    Welcome to the forums!

You can check the following HowTo for instructions on properly downloading the ISO file and then burning it to disk as an image:

Maybe your media is bad or of poor quality if the cd/dvd burner is not recognizing it.

    Burn as ISO

If you're using windows you need to have an iso burner. Here is a free one:

Active ISO Burner - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Also make sure your bios is setup so it boots from cd.
    Bodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
Dell Studio 17, Intel Graphics card, 4 gigs of RAM, E17
