I have used Kgpg in the past. There is a new KDE4 version out now that should work on both. It's available in the 8.10 repositories.

I'd say Cryptkeeper is the best that I've seen. It encrypts folders and if you don't put in the password you can't even see the folder (it treats it like a partition almost and won't mount without the password). Really easy to use

hmm depends on which "this" you are referring to
But if you are referring to cryptkeeper....
crypt keeper new to ubuntu
quick tutorial:
install
sudo apt-get install cryptkeeper
use:
applications->system tools -> cryptkeeper
Create a folder wherever you would like it to be
left click cryptkeeper icon in top left corner
select "new encrypted folder"
Find your folder, single left click it, click forward
put a password on it
now the folder is encrypted, if you left click the icon again you'll see your folder, here you can uncheck it (ie hide it and make it so no one can see it) or check it which will bring up a password prompt.
Hope that helpsBodhi 1.3 & Bodhi 1.4 using E17
