Sound issues. But not really problem...

Okay this one is a bit odd... How would I go about re-assigning the volume buttons on my laptop from master volume to pc speaker volume? It's not really that much of a problem, but it's loud and I'm used to using the volume buttons because it's so convenient.

See, the volume buttons control the master volume, but doesn't really effect the volume. But when I change the pc speaker volume, it gets softer and louder.

So maybe even if I can get the master volume to raise and lover the volume, I'd be happy.

If it's way too complicated, I'll let it pass, but I would like to at least give it a shot.

I think the package hotkeys is what does what you ask. Install through Synaptic.
