    Deleted Partition, GRUB Error

I had Ubuntu and Vista installed on different partitions on a single drive. I was shrinking and expanding the many partitions i had on vista (to clean it up a bit) and i mistakenly deleted the partition with ubuntu on it. When i restart my computer, i get a GRUB Error 22 and cannot load windows. Please help. (I have no floppy/cd drive on this machine, but I can get external ones if needed). Thank you.

If you want to keep away Linux you can just do a Windows repair and the MBR will be set to Windows default, If you want to have Linux back, you should reinstall it, and probably GRUB will come with it.

The Grub error 22 is because you deleted the Ubuntu partition. The stage1 file of Grub is in the master boot record and the rest of the Grub boot files were on the partition with Ubuntu you deleted. So if you want Ubuntu again, do as Bemk suggests and install Ubuntu again and make sure you don't install over one of your windows partitions.
